Respect and Responsibility on Every Ride

At Raftar, we believe mutual respect between drivers and riders is the foundation of a safe and trusted ride experience. All users—drivers and passengers—are expected to follow our community guidelines and treat one another with dignity. If any situation makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe, you have the full right to cancel the ride and report the issue to us.
Riders with Children
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. For younger children who need special seating, it’s the rider’s responsibility to bring their own car seat or booster. Drivers are not required to accept rides that are unsafe or not properly prepared.
Professionalism at All Times
We encourage drivers to maintain a professional and respectful attitude on every trip. Your behavior reflects the values of Raftar and helps build trust across the community.
Built-in Safety Features That Support Drivers
Your safety matters every moment you’re on the road. That’s why Raftar’s platform is designed with features that help you stay in control and feel supported.
Real-time Ride Monitoring
We keep an eye on rides for unusual activity, such as long stops or unusual routes. If something doesn’t seem right, our team may check in with you to ensure everything is okay.
Share Your Location
You can share your ride status with family or trusted contacts directly from the app. Let them know where you are at all times for added peace of mind.
Privacy Protection
To help reduce the high cost of mobile calls in Afghanistan, Raftar allows drivers and riders to contact each other through WhatsApp after a ride has been accepted. This ensures easy, low-cost communication without additional fees. In cases where WhatsApp is not available, direct phone contact is allowed for coordination purposes.
We never share your phone number or WhatsApp details with any third-party services. Your contact information is only visible to the matched rider during the ride process, and only for necessary communication.
Fair Ratings System
After each trip, both you and the rider can leave a rating. Your honest feedback helps us take the right action when needed and ensures we build a respectful, safer community. Drivers with consistently high ratings are more likely to get more ride requests.

Real Help, When You Need It Most

At Raftar, we stand by our drivers — not just with words, but with real, human support. Whether you’re dealing with a last-minute rider cancellation or facing an issue on the road, we’re here to support you every step of the way.
Support via WhatsApp and Phone
You can always reach our support team through WhatsApp or a direct phone call. No bots — just real people who understand your challenges and are ready to help.
Handling Unfair Cancellations
If a rider cancels a ride without valid reason, we take that seriously. Our team reviews cancellation patterns closely to ensure fair use of the platform. Riders with repeated unjustified cancellations may face account restrictions or permanent removal.
Driver Compensation for Unfair Cancellations
If you cancel a ride with cause — such as no-show riders or misuse — you may be eligible for a small wallet credit. This helps offset your time and fuel. Full details about this policy are available in our Cancellation Policy.
Drivers Safety Tips
Simple habits help keep every ride safe — for both you and your passengers. At Raftar, we encourage all drivers to follow these steps to ensure a smooth and secure experience.
Confirm the Rider’s Name
Before starting any trip, always ask the passenger for their name and confirm it matches the name shown in your app. This avoids any mix-ups or unauthorized pickups.Check the Trip Details
Double-check the pickup location, drop-off point, and fare amount before you start driving. If anything seems unclear, contact the rider through WhatsApp for clarification.Use the OTP Code for Security
Each trip comes with a unique OTP (One-Time Passcode). Ask the rider for the code before you begin the ride. Only start the trip once the correct code is provided.Report Suspicious Activity
If anything feels unsafe, or a rider is behaving inappropriately, cancel the ride and report the incident to Raftar immediately. Our team is available to support you.
